Chakra Guide

The Root Chakra represents our foundation. Element is Earth.  Color is Red. On the human body, it sits at the base of the spine and gives us the feeling of being grounded. 

When our root chakra is open, we feel confident in our ability to withstand challenges and stand on our own two feet. When it is blocked, we feel as if we are standing on unstable ground.

The Sacral Chakra helps inform how we relate to our emotions and emotions of others. Element is Water. Color is Orange. On the human body, it is in the lower abdomen, about 2 inches from the naval. Governs creativity and sexual energy. Controls your sense of abundance, well being, pleasure and sexuality. When it is blocked, we feel a lack of control in our lives. 

The Solar Plexus Chakra represents your ability to be confident and in control of your life. Element is Fire. Color is Yellow. On the human body, it is in the upper abdomen in the stomach area. If you have had butterflies or a pit in your stomach, the Solar Plexus is at work.  When it is blocked, you might feel overwhelming amouts of shame and self -doubt.

The Heart Chakra is all about love. It is the bridge between the lower and upper Chakras. Element is Air. Color is Green. On the human body,  the heart. It influences our ability to give and receive love.  You can experience deep compasstion and empathy. When it is blocked, you have difficulty fully opening up to the people if your life.
